One price per dojo. Nothing held back.
There is no trial to sign up for — the call is what replaces it. A short form, then we set a time.
The one price, the charges outside it, and what it connects to.
Every charge attached to Konjo is on this page rather than in a later email — the two that come from Konjo, and the ones that come from Stripe or your tax authority. Under them are the other two things an owner needs before they can compare anything: what a second location costs, and what Konjo connects to.
What the price covers
- Every feature is included. Nothing is held back for a higher plan.
- The member app is included, for every student and every instructor.
- Adding a second instructor, a second class or a hundred students changes nothing on the invoice.
What is charged separately
Not all of these are Konjo’s. Stripe bills the card processing, your tax authority sets the taxes, and you buy hardware from whoever you like. What Konjo bills is your monthly price and the one-time Guided Launch. Two more come from Konjo only if they apply to you: migration work beyond what the launch covers, which you agree to before it starts, and opt-in text messages, which stop at the monthly cap you set.
- Card processing, at Stripe’s published rate and paid to Stripe.
- Opt-in text messages and other metered communication, at the provider’s rate, with a monthly cap you set.
- Any sales, communications or similar taxes that apply, shown before you buy.
- Guided Launch, and any migration work beyond what it covers.
- Hardware, such as the tablet in your lobby.
There is no card reader to buy: Konjo does not support one. A card payment at the desk is charged to a card the family already has on file, or paid through a link they scan on their own phone.
Guided Launch is a required one-time service, quoted next to your monthly price before you commit. Nothing else is added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
Integrations — what it connects to, and what it does not
- Stripe, through Stripe Connect. The account is your dojo’s own and payouts go straight to it.
- QuickBooks, by export. Reports produce a QuickBooks-ready file your bookkeeper imports.
- Your phone’s calendar, by subscription. Classes and events arrive as a feed, not a screenshot.
- Your existing website, unchanged. Konjo gives you a public dojo page and a booking form to link to; it does not ask you to move your site.
- Everything else, by CSV. Your roster, attendance, ranks and testing history export whenever you want them.
- There is no app marketplace and no Zapier connector today. If that is what you need, Konjo is not there yet.
More than one location
One dojo at one address is one price. A second location costs less than your first, not the same again, and both sit under one organization, so one sign-in covers both.
A location is one with its own roster, its own schedule, its own staff and its own reporting. Each one gets its own Guided Launch, because each one is all of that to set up — and the second of those costs less than the first as well.
Both monthly prices and both launch charges are on one quote, before you decide. If yours is an unusual shape — one roster across two rooms, a dojo renting mat time inside somebody else’s building — ask on the call and the answer goes on the quote.
What the one price buys
The desk software, the student app and the instructor tools are one purchase, not three. Here is the short version of each.
Konjo Studio, for the desk
- Members and familiesThe roster, each member’s record, and the household that pays for them. Attendance, documents, rank and billing sit on one page.
- Testing and certificatesSchedule a test, build the roster, finalize it, and promote in bulk — with a certificate at the end.
- Memberships and billingPlans, invoices, card on file, membership pauses and a billing portal — on your dojo’s own Stripe account.
- LeadsEvery trial request from your public page in one funnel, with trial scheduling and a one-click convert to member.
- ReportsRevenue, churn risk, attendance and retail, with a QuickBooks-ready export.
Payroll is in preview — you can look at it, but do not plan your first pay run on it. It is in your price when it ships, at no extra charge.
The app, for students
- Curriculum for your rankThe requirements for the belt you are on, with video, searchable, and nothing from three ranks ahead to scare a white belt.
- Training logLog a class or a solo session in seconds — time, what you worked on, notes, photos or video.
- Class booking and waitlistsBook a spot when a class has a cap, join the waitlist when it is full, and get a push when a place opens.
- Coaching requestsSend a video to an instructor and get structured written feedback back, not a thumbs-up in a group chat.
- Family accountsA parent manages every child from one login, including profiles for children too young for their own account.
Teach tools, for the mat
- Class ModeRun the class from your phone: check people in, teach the plan, write the debrief on the way out.
- Class plansA library of plans with blocks and breakouts, assignable to a class and shareable with the other instructors.
- ReadinessWho is close to their next test and what each of them is still missing, built from real requirements and real attendance.
- Test rostersBuild the candidate list for a test, mark pass, fail or absent, and finalize promotions in one pass.
That is 14 of the 35 things in the price. Here are the other 21 by name; every one of them is described on the product pages.
Konjo Studio, for the deskStudio home, Schedule, Attendance, Waivers, Kiosk management, Team, Payroll (in preview), Messages and automations, Public dojo page, Public event registration, Retail and point of sale.
The app, for studentsPhilosophy flashcards, Events, Dojo feed and groups, Kiosk check-in, Personal schedule and calendar, Ranks across styles, Achievements.
Teach tools, for the matAttendance, Test requirements, Coverage.
Ask what all of it costs for your own dojo.
What you pay Stripe
Card processing is Stripe’s own rate, paid to Stripe. Konjo adds no markup and takes no cut.
Your dojo is the merchant of record
When your dojo goes live, your students pay into your own Stripe account, not into a Konjo account that pays you later. Stripe pays your dojo directly, and the money is yours from the moment it lands.
Recurring memberships carry a second Stripe fee
Your dojo pays Stripe’s published card rate for the cards you take. On recurring memberships Stripe adds its own Billing fee on top, because Stripe runs the subscriptions, the retries and the receipts. Both rates are published by Stripe, and both are paid to Stripe.
Your dojo would be one of the first to bill on Konjo
Memberships and billing run on Stripe Connect and launch with your dojo. Your dojo’s own Stripe account is connected during Guided Launch, and no school is billing live on it yet.
No contract, and no month you did not mean to buy.
You should stay on Konjo because it is useful, not because leaving is expensive or awkward.
Monthly, and you cancel it yourself
The subscription renews each month. You turn it off from your settings in Konjo Studio before the next renewal, and service runs to the end of the period you paid for. There is no notice period on top of that, and no phone call to sit through.
A year up front is optional
You can prepay a year if it suits how your school budgets. It is never the default, and nobody will ask you to, before you have accepted your account at go-live.
Your data leaves with you
Full CSV export of your people, families, memberships, attendance, ranks, invoices and payments — while you are a customer, and for 30 days after your service ends. No charge for it, either way. Photos and video come out too, by download. Saved card details stay with Stripe, and no software can hand those over.
What happens to all of it if Konjo itself stops is on the security page.
The one-time charge, and what comes after it.
Every new school gets one. A founder builds your dojo with you over video and stays with you through your first 90 days. You are not handed an empty account and a help center.
It covers a normal school’s setup: your programs, plans, class times, staff, ranks, curriculum and one waiver, with one round of revisions. Then it covers the part that makes it stick. You get a working session on your own dojo, with your real members already in it, and a drill for your instructors before they teach on it. A founder is on the call the day you switch over, and again at 14, 30 and 90 days.
Rebuilding old records, transcribing a large curriculum, or setting up on site is quoted separately, before you decide.
It is one charge, not a monthly one, and it comes to less than four months of your monthly price — on the founding rate as well as the public one. It is split in two: the first part reserves your launch and starts the work on your data, and the rest is due only once you have accepted your configured account for go-live. The reservation and the balance are both on the quote.
Step by step — what you send, what gets built, what you approve, what happens on launch day — is on the switching page.
After your first 90 days
- Support is included in the monthly price. There is no support tier, and no plan that gets answered sooner.
- Email galen@getkonjo.com, or write from inside Konjo Studio.
- The target for a first reply is one business day.
- There are scheduled office hours for the things that are easier said than typed.
- Guided Launch ends at go-live. Support does not — it is the same people who built your school answering the email.
- Work beyond that — rebuilding history, custom configuration, on-site visits — is quoted as a project before it starts.
There is no phone line, no ticket queue and no second person to be escalated to. It is one inbox, and that is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.
Why the number is not on this page
Konjo is setting its price with the first schools running on it. Publishing a figure now and raising it later is the thing owners complain about most in the software they already have. We would rather set one number and hold it.
So here is exactly how you get it.
- Book a demo and tell us about your dojo. If you run more than one location, say so on the call — it changes the quote.
- Galen replies within one business day.
- The call takes about 30 minutes. It runs on a sample dojo set up with ranks like yours.
- An email with the monthly price for your school.
It says what is in it, what Guided Launch costs, what happens if you leave, and how long the price is good for. It is written down before you are asked to decide anything. It is not a number that moves depending on how the call goes.

Book a demo. You leave with a written quote for your dojo, to compare and think about.
The form opens on studio.getkonjo.com. It asks about your school, takes no payment and creates no account — a person reads it and emails you to plan the launch, price included.
