24 rows, five competitors, and a dated source under every claim about another product. Prices are the ones each product publishes, or, where the cell says so, reported by someone else.

Why Konjo’s price is not a number here

The model is published in full on the pricing page: one flat monthly price for your location, every feature in it, no plan levels and no per-student fee. Founding-dojo pricing is open while we launch, so you get the figure on the call and in writing.

Every number here is dated

Each price and rating was read on the product’s own site on the date printed beside its source under the table. Other people’s prices move. If one of these has changed since we read it, the link is there to check it against.

Row by row

24 rows, in the order an owner asks them

The rows Konjo loses are in among them: how long each product has been around, what its customers say, and whether you can try it without talking to anyone. Every claim about another product has a dated source under the table.

How to read the marks. Sources in the other columns are that product’s own pages, or a third party where the note says so. Every Konjo cell links to the Konjo page that describes it — our own word, not an outside check. A mark scores what a product does, not what it charges for it: where a feature costs extra, the mark stands and the price is in the note beside it.

Take the row that decides it for your dojo and we will answer it with the product open — including the rows Konjo loses.

Where we lose

Where each one is ahead of Konjo today

Konjo is new. These are the things each product does better right now, said plainly, so you can decide whether they matter to your dojo.

MyStudio

Owners of studios that sell memberships, trials, events and retail online, and want belts handled properly.

  • Its billing is running today. MyStudio sells memberships, trials, events and retail online on every plan. Your dojo’s own Stripe account is connected during Guided Launch, and no school is billing live on it yet.
  • Belt testing goes further than ours, on the plans that carry it. Konjo runs test events, rosters, requirements and promotions. MyStudio also works out who is eligible from attendance minimums and time in rank, and it keeps track of your belt stock — on its $159 plan and above. Its $79 plan tracks ranks with no testing workflow in it.
  • It builds you a website. Konjo gives your dojo one public page, not a site you can add pages to.
  • It answers leads with AI. Konjo has messages and automations, and no AI follow-up.
  • It has a track record. Its site says more than 2,000 studios, and it has 171 reviews on Capterra. Konjo is launching with its first schools.
  • Setting you up is inside the monthly price. Its pricing page says every plan, from $79 a month, includes white-glove onboarding, data migration, a dedicated account manager and a care team on call, chat and email. Konjo charges Guided Launch separately, because a founder building your school section by section is real hours — and you get that figure quoted next to your monthly price before you commit to anything.
Konjo compared with MyStudio, row by row

PushPress

Gyms of any kind that want billing, booking and check-in to be reliable, and buy the rest as add-ons.

  • Its billing is running today. Billing and payments are in every PushPress Core plan, the free one included. Your dojo’s own Stripe account is connected during Guided Launch, and no school is billing live on it yet.
  • It is far bigger. Its martial arts page says 5,000+ gyms in 46 countries, and it shows ratings from three review sites. Konjo has none of that yet.
  • Its marketing goes further. Grow does websites and a lead pipeline on top of the messaging both products send. Konjo has no lead funnel and no AI that answers a new lead.
  • It publishes a phone number and a mailing address, and it answers support on a stated schedule.
  • There is a free plan. If your school is small and you can live with 4.99% on every card, PushPress costs nothing a month.
Konjo compared with PushPress, row by row

Spark Membership

Schools that want lead generation first: funnels, checkout pages, SMS and an AI that answers new leads and books them in.

  • Its billing is running today. Spark has been selling to schools since 2019 and lists payments among its features, though it does not publish its processing terms. Your dojo’s own Stripe account is connected during Guided Launch, and no school is billing live on it yet.
  • Its founders are two seventh-dan black belts, and it has been selling to schools since 2019.
  • Its marketing tools go further than ours: funnels, checkout pages, and an AI that answers new leads and books them in.
  • It has more reviews than Konjo does, and it runs a public status page.
  • Its first year is heavily discounted, and the discount is published with numbers.
Konjo compared with Spark Membership, row by row

Kicksite

Martial arts schools that want a straightforward front desk: members, attendance, belts and billing.

  • Its billing is running today. Kicksite runs recurring automated billing, one-time charges and past-due tracking on every tier. Your dojo’s own Stripe account is connected during Guided Launch, and no school is billing live on it yet.
  • Eighteen years and 2.1K+ schools. Konjo is launching with its first schools.
  • A very small school pays less. Kicksite starts at $49 a month up to 25 active students.
  • You can see the price before you talk to anyone. Kicksite publishes four numbers on its site; Konjo publishes the model and gives you the figure on the call.
  • It builds and maintains your school’s website for you — basic through multi-location, with lead forms wired into the software. Konjo gives your dojo one public page, not a site somebody else runs.
Konjo compared with Kicksite, row by row

Zen Planner

Established gyms and studios that want a large platform priced on active members, with the marketing and website pieces bought alongside it.

  • Its billing is running today. Billing and payment processing are in the Zen Planner package at every price level. Your dojo’s own Stripe account is connected during Guided Launch, and no school is billing live on it yet.
  • It has been in the market far longer, and it is part of Daxko, with a help center and a support organization behind it.
  • It does belts, families and shared curriculum on its martial arts pages: rank on a profile, one household account, and technique videos for the skills a student needs to rank.
  • It sells a website at $99 a month and a branded member app carrying your school’s name at $39. Konjo has neither.
  • Zen Planner Engage, at $249 a month, carries marketing automation and a lead funnel that Konjo does not do.
  • A small school pays less. At 45 active members or fewer, the whole Studio package is $99 a month.

Where we are different

What Konjo does that the others do not

None of these is a feature. They are the reasons the product is shaped the way it is.

Students log, instructors see it, owners run on it

Students log real training. Instructors see who is ready from those records and the requirements your dojo actually sets. Owners run the school on the same numbers. Most school software starts and ends at billing and booking.

The app and the floor tools are included

Every student and every instructor gets the app, and instructors get class mode, attendance and readiness inside it. Elsewhere the app with your dojo’s name on it is an upgrade: the $239 plan at MyStudio, $81 to $97 a month at PushPress, $39 a month at Zen Planner.

No tiers, no markup, no contract

One flat monthly price for your location with every feature in it. Card processing is Stripe’s own rate, paid to Stripe. No minimum term, and a full CSV export while you are a customer and for 30 days after.

The founder sets your school up

You send your exports and Konjo builds your dojo in the system — people, programs, ranks, curriculum. You read every section and approve it before anyone is invited.

Next step

See it against the school you actually run.

Bring your dojo’s ranks, classes and curriculum. We will show you Konjo running with them, and answer any row in this table with the product open.

Three boxes and a tap, and the rest is optional. Galen replies within one business day. The call takes about 30 minutes. It runs on a sample dojo set up with ranks like yours.
